Architecture & Engineering 

The WinterView Group worked with a 30-person architecture and engineering firm whose CFO had been underperforming and, subsequently, left the company. We retrained the office manager to assume day-to-day business operations and project accounting tasks. We produced two successful tax credit studies, and we upgraded all project management and financial systems—both on-premise and cloud-based. We provided training for the project management and finance teams and continued a five-year consultancy relationship with the client.

Hospitality

The WinterView Group assisted a venture-backed SAAS firm working in the hospitality industry who’s current CFO was underperforming and stifling company growth.

Within 24-hours of the engagement, WinterView took on the function of interim CFO and negotiated the sale of a dormant acquisition for a 15% premium and revamped all of the firm’s sales contract processes.

Architecture & Design

The WinterView Group was engaged by a boutique aeronautics related design firm to restart a stalled integration of a cloud-based project management system.

WinterView reconfigured the system, recreated over six months of project management and financial data allowing the company to generate accurate monthly project and financial reporting.

Engineering

The WinterView Group assisted an engineering and technical products sales company suddenly positioned for substantial and impactful growth.

The sole salesperson in the firm assumed the role of general manager. WinterView provided the new GM with professional coaching focused on business management skills, and channel sales development, resulting in an expanded and capable multi-state sales team.

Publishing  

A publishing services firm producing content for leading textbook publishers engaged the WinterView Group.

We developed a financial plan to support the purchase of a division from a competitor publishing house. The plan successfully supported financing 150% of the acquisition value. WinterView played critical roles in negotiating the terms of sale, organization of the new company, and team building. We assisted with relocating a 25-person team to new headquarters in 90 days.

WinterView provided COO services for 18 months after the transaction closed.
